Running (Yecch)

Since I run because I Have To, not because I Like To, I don't talk about it much.
filkerdave's post got me thinking about noting some things down.
- I run for a time limit, not for a distance. That's because I combine it with a strength workout and try to fit it into my lunch hour for work. I'm now up to 30 minutes at about 5 MPH (that's 8 KPH in them French units).
- I ran exclusively on a treadmill until last week when I was in Grenoble without a fitness center available. I went to the (nice flat) Parc Paul Mistral and did pretty well.
- My shoes were getting a little old (well, OK, a lot old), so I sacrificed them to make luggage space for wine and foie gras (the REASON I Have To run) and bought new shoes Monday.
ladyat got new shoes as well, and we may actually try doing some running up and down town streets. She actually LIKES running. *sigh*
