Bye, Jack

Jack came into our lives accidentally, while we were out of town, during a period we had decided to go without a dog, and became the best dog we ever had. He never met a stranger, loved to get attention when we took him for walks, and wanted to be wherever I was even if it was just the other side of the doorway.

He was an extremely happy dog who chased the kitties but would let them snuggle him in his bed. He was allowed to sleep on the furniture because it just wasn't fair that the cats got to be wherever they wanted when he had to be on the cold ground.

It's hard to believe we had him for 10 years and that he was estimated to be 7 when we got him. He got to be a tottery old man but never grumpy.

Gonna miss him.
