Allergy Day

Yesterday was a very big day for the tree pollens I am allergic to (mostly oak), and an intelligent person would have stayed inside next to the HEPA filter. But, no, muggins here spent most of the day out spading the garden (and hoeing around, if you must know). Considering the raking kicked up many lovely clouds of the evil tree sperm, the runny nose was rather spectacular. Add to that a sinus headache AND the sore muscles that naturally follow from 3-4 hours of breaking dirt manually instead of using the cultivator (broken fuel line), and sleep was not a particularly good option last night. Having broken out the benadryl in a fit of desperation, I am groggy and foggy today. I also feel so dry that I could absorb the liquid from a cloudy day.

Hope it is an easy workday. I'm definitely counting my garden work for yesterday as a full workout and not going to the gym today.
