I agree the next couple of months are going to be difficult, but at least here in the DC area if between vaccinations and a sane approach to the pandemic we can just get back to where we were in September and October, it'll be a big step. That'll get some schools (including our son's) back to some in-person and a lot of cultural activities (e.g. museums) open again with precautions. Still won't be the same as the before-Covid times, but it'll make our lives as parents a lot easier.
